How to make a video: Jump in before you know how
Here is my story:
I have no background or any ideas about how to make a video. The only things I know that I’m gonna do it.
Your first video gonna be suck, to be honest. So what, give up?
I’ve searched on Google and YouTube for tips on how to film myself alone. On my journey 21 days bikepacking to Norway, I have on myself an camera phone, a tripod and a drone (DJI mini 3), that’s it.
I’ve learned how to fill the frame and the importance of taking as many shots as possible to capture different angles and moments. Done!
Let’s edit!
I downloaded CapCut and began editing my video. It took me a lot of time and dedication but still it’s SUCK! My first video is suck! However, I learned how to edit shot by shot to fit the rhythm of the music, adding sound effect, caption, produced by.
The second video, I learned that to make video less boring, I should talk something, not just music. But my English is not well enough, I do not like my voice :v. Still, my second video is suck.
The third video, I learned how to make Cinematic video by color grading, storytelling, making Thumbnail. Still, my third video is suck.
The fourth video, I learned that natural sound is morning interesting than music or sound effect because it’s real. Opening should be consider using so short shots to attract the attention. Now, my fourth video is less suck.
…
to be continue! :)
